Casper Situational Judgment Test (SJT)

Medic Mind

Casper is an online situational judgement test (SJT) that assesses your response to challenging situations.

Casper evaluates skills like communication, empathy, problem-solving, and professionalism, crucial for people-centered professions.

The test has 2 sections: video responses and typed responses, covering 14 scenarios in total.

For video responses, you answer 2 questions per scenario, with 1 minute to record each answer.

For typed responses, you answer 3 questions per scenario, with 5 minutes to respond to all questions.

Casper takes 90-110 minutes, including optional breaks. Make sure to reserve your test date in advance.

Human raters score your responses, ensuring unbiased evaluation with rigorous training, including implicit bias training.

Scores are sent to selected programs 2-3 weeks after the test, helping programs assess your personal and professional skills.

Casper helps programs select well-rounded candidates by evaluating soft skills alongside academic achievements.

Prepare for Casper by familiarizing yourself with the format and using free prep resources on the Casper test prep page.
